The story follows the extraordinary gentleman wearing reading glasses and working as an employee at the mysterious restaurant “Cazetta dell’Orso” in Rome, Italy. A woman visits a mysterious restaurant full of gentlemen wearing reading glasses…Synopsis of Episode 1 “Cazetta dell’Orso” is a restaurant on a street a little outside the center of Rome. One day, a woman named Nicoletta (CV: Fumiko Orikasa) visits the restaurant to see the owner, Lorenzo (CV: Kenji Nomura).
However, there are only female customers at “Cazetta dell’Orso”. Furthermore, it is a rather unusual restaurant in that the only customers who serve are gentlemen wearing reading glasses. Nicoletta visits the restaurant to see her mother, who left her in the care of her grandmother when she was a child, to remarry and to tell her mother, Lorenzo, who knows nothing about her mother’s remarriage. Her mother, Olga (CV: Terada Haruhi), who does not know that Nicoletta has come, returns to the restaurant with Lorenzo and is surprised to see her. While trying to calm Nicoletta and keep quiet about their relationship, Olga introduces her to Lorenzo as “a friend’s daughter.” Meanwhile, Claudio (CV: Yamanoi Jin), the head waiter, brings the food to the table. Nicoletta is captivated by his gentle manner and somewhat sexy behavior.
The “Gentlemen with Reading Glasses” with Unique and Gentlemanly Behavior In the first episode, Nicoletta goes to “Casetta dell’Orso” and meets various waiters, including Claudio. As per the concept of this work, “Gentlemen with Reading Glasses,” multiple types of gentlemen with reading glasses appear in the first episode. To whom Nicoletta is particularly attracted, Claudio is a gentleman who gives off a calm and serious aura and has a tranquil atmosphere among the shop’s carriers. When he meets Nicoletta by chance in the streets of Rome, he quickly picks her up when she stumbles after bumping into a passerby and gently asks, “Are you okay?” The atmosphere he exudes matches the beautiful scenery of Rome, making him even more sexy.
This work also features a variety of unique characters, such as the cheerful mood maker Vito (CV: Kuroda Takaya), the taciturn Gigi ( CV: Kiyama Shigeo), the manly and bold Theo (CV: Ueda Yoji), the nagging but surprisingly shy Luciano (CV: Tachikawa Miki), and the top chef Julio (CV: Nishimatsu Kazuhiko). Finding your favorite gentleman with reading glasses might be fun through this work.
