It turns out that Shawn Levy of “Free Guy” is in talks to direct the third instalment of the blockbuster series “Deadpool” starring Ryan Reynolds. The Hollywood Reporter reports exclusively.

The series is an exciting action entertainment that depicts the activities of Wade Wilson, also known as Deadpool, an anti-hero who stands out among the many characters in Marvel Comics with his irresponsible behaviour and poisonous tongue. The first film directed by Tim Miller has a cumulative worldwide revenue of $ 738 million, and the second film directed by David Leitch of “Fast & Furious Presents His Super Combo” has a megaphone of $ 785 million. Although it was designated as R, it was a tremendous hit.

With the acquisition of 20th Century Fox (currently 20th Century Studios), the producer and distributor of the two previous series by Walt Disney, Deadpool in the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) developed by Marvel Studios. While the fan’s dream of being incorporated has come true, Disney’s focus on the image of a family-friendly company does not mean that the selling point of “Deadpool”, which has filthy wording and radical violence in the foreground, is not lost. There were some worries about it, but Disney is showing a stance of sticking to the R-designated route, as in the previous two series.

“Deadpool 3 (tentative title)”, the first MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) work in the series, will be followed by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who wrote the scripts for the previous two results. He is currently writing a script with sisters Wendy and Lizzie Molyneux, known for the famous American anime series “Bob’s Burgers.”

Reynolds will be the third tag after “Free Guy” and “Adam & Adam” if Levi’s negotiations are finalised.
