An anime adaptation of FromSoftware’s popular action game ” SEKIRO: SHADOWS DIE TWICE ” will soon be announced. Domain information includes contact information for KADOKAWA. Recently, it has been revealed that a website domain related to the anime has been registered, drawing attention as a concrete move toward an anime adaptation. The domain, “sekiro-anime.jp,” was confirmed.

A Whois search, which checks domain ownership, reveals that KADOKAWA Corporation acquired it on July 31st. Accessing this address currently results in a 404 error page (the SSL certificate appears to have been issued on August 5th). SEKIRO, a challenging action title from FromSoftware that was released in 2019 and won numerous game awards, had sold over 10 million copies as of 2023.

While the company’s most recent title was the ” ELDEN RING ” series, rumors of an anime adaptation of “SEKIRO” have been circulating. At this time, there has been no official announcement from Kadokawa or FromSoftware, and no details have been revealed. Still, an official announcement of an anime adaptation will likely be made soon. ©2019,2020 FromSoftware, Inc. All rights reserved. ACTIVISION is a trademark of Activision Publishing Inc.
