‘Gunma-chan’ anime return gift Prefectural hometown tax

The prefecture has added a Blu-ray of the anime “Gunma-chan” to the hometown tax donation.

The anime has been broadcast on Gunma TV and other channels since October last year. The Blu-ray will be shipped after June next year and will include 39 episodes in a two-disc set. Applications are limited to the end of April and can be selected as a return gift by donating 34,000 yen to hometown tax. You can also get a leisure sheet with Gunma-chan drawn on it.

On the other hand, general sales for citizens of the prefecture are also planned. A prefectural official said, “We will work to convey the appeal of the prefecture, regardless of whether it is inside or outside the prefecture.”
