The first volume of Tomomi Usui’s “Otaku Called God” based on the original work by Rootport was released today on October 8th.
The main character is Susumu, an otaku boy who belongs to the National Aerospace College. He was taking a graduation exam on a spaceship with support from AI Minerva. “When this is over, I’ll watch the movie version of magical Girl Band Pretty Care’,” he said with excitement and went into cold sleep. Still, when he woke up, he reached the earth after the destruction of humankind. Susumu struggles to revive the earth’s civilization to see the continuation of “Witch Girl Band Pretty Care.” It is being serialized on Shinchosha’s Web manga site, Kurage Bunch.
Gamers, Komirano! Illustrated benefits are distributed to book buyers at member stores, Toranoana, Melon Books, Shosen, Kikuya Bookstore, and Bunch Sales Cooperation. The electronic version includes a newly written short story and illustration cuts. From today to November 4th, a campaign will be held by Rootport and Usui to win an autographed mouse pad. If you want it, follow the official account of the work on Twitter and tweet the impression of Volume 1 with the hashtag “#Otaku called God.”
