by Hoshizuki Koneko ‘s novel “Level 999 Villager” will be adapted into a TV anime in 2026. The cast, staff, teaser trailer, and teaser visuals have also been announced.
“Level 999 Villager” is set in Earthclear, a world of swords and magic where people are born with specific roles. Kagami Koji, a man who reaches level 999 despite playing the weakest role of a villager, meets Alice, the daughter of the Demon King, the pinnacle of the demon race, and together with his friends, strives for coexistence between demons and humans.
The original novel has been published in eight volumes, and the latest 19th volume of the comic book adaptation by Iwamoto Kenichi will be released on August 26th. Inomata Keiji will play the role of Koji, and Toyama Nao will play Alice.
The series is directed by Kasai Yoshinobu, with series composition by Fujita Shinzo, and Brain’s Base produces animation. In the teaser trailer, you can hear the voices of Koji, played by Inomata, and Alice, played by Higashiyama.
The anime’s official X account is hosting a giveaway campaign in which two people each will be entered into a raffle to win an autographed illustration card from Inomata and Higashiyama. Along with these announcements, comments have been received from the original author, Hoshizuki, and character designers, Fuumi, Inomata, and Higashiyama.
