The second season of the TV anime “Gachiakuta” will begin airing on October 12th. The opening theme song will be “LET’S JUST CRACH” by Mori Calliope, and the ending theme song will be “Ban” by Karanoa.

“Gachiakuta” is based on the manga of the same name by Uranakei and Ando Hideyoshi. It’s a battle-action story starring Ludo, an orphan boy born in a slum where the descendants of criminals reside. Mori Calliope commented on the theme song announcement, “As a longtime fan of the original work, I’m incredibly excited for my favorite chapter to be adapted into an anime in the second season. What kind of original soundtrack will we get to hear for the most heated battle of the series!! Plus, with Bones Film’s amazing animation, it’s sure to be a nail-biting experience.

My favorite vandals will finally show their true colors, so I hope everyone is as excited as I am.” Yudai (Vocals, Guitar) of Calanoa, who wrote his first original music for an anime, commented, “I wondered if incorporating this motif into the song would help me immerse myself in the work, or what this character was thinking at this moment. It was more like a fantasy than just imagination, and as an anime fan, it was a pleasant production. There are so many things I want to talk about, it would take more than 10,000 words, but above all, I am honored to be involved in my favorite work in the form of music.” The trailer for the second season of the anime is now available on YouTube.
