It has been decided that a ” Dragon Ball ” channel will be launched for a limited time on Abema from Saturday, April 26th. As part of an initiative to commemorate the 40th anniversary of “DRAGON BALL,” the TV anime series and theatrical releases will be streamed for free daily.
“Dragon Ball” is a manga by Akira Toriyama that began serialization in “Weekly Shonen Jump” in 1984. Since the first TV anime series was broadcast in 1986, six series and 21 movies have been produced, and the latest work, “Dragon Ball D AI MA,” will be broadcast in October 2024 to commemorate the 40th anniversary.
ABEMA’s “Dragon Ball” channel will broadcast all six TV anime series, from the first “Dragon Ball” to the latest “Dragon Ball DAIMA,” as well as all 21 movies, free of charge, every day for six months.
The channel will begin with a free one-off broadcast of all 20 episodes of Dragon Ball DAIMA at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 26th. After the broadcast, it will be available for free for one week.
A unique project will also be held to commemorate the channel’s launch. All 21 movies will be broadcast for free daily for 10 consecutive days starting Sunday, April 27th. Furthermore, beginning on Saturday, May 10th, ABEMA will stream Dragon Ball Z for free for the first time.
