Based on the manga of the same name by Makoto Yukimura, the work was broadcast on NHK BS2 from 2003 to 2004 and has been rebroadcast on E-Tele every Sunday from 7:00 pm from January this year.
The stage of this work was 2075 when the universe became familiar to humankind. A group image drama about Hachimaki (Hachirota Hoshino), a professional astronaut whose business is to collect debris (space debris) at the space station, is depicted in all 26 episodes. The voice actor for the main character, Hachimaki, is Kazunari Tanaka, who passed away in 2016. Goro Taniguchi is the director, Ichiro Okouchi is the scriptwriter, and Sunrise is in charge of the animation production.
