Single jacket featuring Toshinobu Kubota and anime characters from ‘Let’s Play’ revealed

Toshinobu Kubota will release his new single “1, 2, Play / Left & Right” digitally on October 2nd and on CD on November 26th. The album jacket design for the physical edition has been revealed.

This album features the opening theme, “1, 2, Play,” and the ending theme, “Left & Right,” for the TV anime “Let’s Play: My Life Full of Quests.” The jacket, designed by illustrator Ebimo, who also designed the characters for “Let’s Play: My Life Full of Quests,” features Toshinobu Kubota sandwiched between the main characters, Sam and Marshall. Kubota commented on the song, “It’s been 30 years since I’ve been asked to write a theme song for an anime.
