“Hell Mode: A Compulsive Gamer Becomes Unrivaled in a Discarded Alternate World” is based on a novel currently being published by “Earth Star Novel” and is currently being serialized as a manga in “Comic Earth Star.”
The story begins when the protagonist, Kenichi, accidentally stumbles upon a mysterious online game, chooses the highest difficulty level, “Hell Mode,” and is reincarnated as a serf in another world. Reincarnated as a boy named Allen, Kenichi masters the mysterious profession of “summoner” and struggles to find his way to becoming the strongest in a world without strategy guides or online message boards.
