Horie, who played Oka, a third-year junior high school student who heads the choir club, introduced himself by saying, “Karaoke’s specialty is Showa pop music, especially Naomi Chiaki,” and commented, “I approached the dubbing with the momentum of dipping my heart, which is completely dyed in Tokyo, in a thick sauce made in Osaka twice.”

“Let’s go to karaoke!” is a story about the strange friendship between Satomi Oka, the captain of the Morioka Junior High School choir, and Kyoji Narita, the assistant to the fourth generation Matsuribayashi-gumi wakagashira. “I’m crazy about you” is an omnibus story that revolves around the mysterious second-year high school student, Yoshira Hayashi, who attends a boys’ school, and the second-year high school student, Akira Nikaido, who made a “reverse high school debut” as a reaction to being too popular in junior high school.
