In episode 5, “The Vandals,” Zanka faces off against a pair of men and women known as the Vandals. He struggles with their mud-based tactics, but Zanka overcomes the situation and pulls off a dramatic comeback. “You’re so persistent, you’ll fall with one punch,” he tells the vandals. Suddenly, an eerie voice says, “Well, you too,” and the episode concludes with the vandal Jabbar (voiced by Yuki Shin ) appearing behind Zanka with a sinister smile.
The dramatic twist following Zanka’s dramatic reversal left many viewers on edge, commenting, “That ending gave me goosebumps…” “Zanka was so cool, but then it was so crazy!” “It was cool, but I wondered if it would end okay!” The anime “Gachiakuta” is based on the popular manga currently serialized in “Weekly Shonen Magazine ” (Kodansha), written by Uranaka Kei and featuring graffiti design by Ando Hideyoshi.
The action-packed story begins with Ludo (voiced by Ichikawa Ao ), an orphan boy born in a slum where the descendants of criminals live, being thrown into the “Netherworld” for a crime he didn’t commit.
Episode 5, “The Vandal” Synopsis: Ludo is frustrated by his incompetence at his first job and loses confidence. The next day, the cleaner receives a request to “recover a living person who has fallen from heaven.” Though hesitant to do so, fearing he might become a hindrance once again, Ludo decides to accompany the cleaner on the job to find clues to help him return to heaven.
