The second season of the TV anime The Apothecary Diaries, based on the light novel by Hinata Natsu, originated from the novel submission site Let’s Become a Novelist. It began airing on Nippon Television’s anime slot “FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT (Fura-ani)” on January 10th. It has been revealed to dominate the top rankings on various streaming sites.

The creditless opening video, which features the opening theme “Hyakka Ryoran” by Ikuta Rira, was released on YouTube and has already been viewed over 1.5 million times, creating great excitement.

Hero Bunko (Imagine Infos) published the light novel version of The Apothecary Diaries, and the comic adaptation is also gaining popularity. The original series has sold over 38 million copies.

The story is set in a glamorous harem on a specific continent. A young poison taster named Nekoneko and a handsome eunuch named Jinshi become embroiled in an incident in the harem full of conspiracies and rumors. The first season of the TV anime aired on Nippon TV from October 2023 to March 2024.

Episode 26, “Caravan,” will air on “FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT” at 11:30 p.m. on January 17th.
