The story of “Let’s Go to Karaoke!” begins when Satomi Oka, the captain of the choir club, is suddenly called out by the yakuza Kyoji Narita.
His gang has a regular karaoke competition, and if you become the worst singer there, the boss will give you a subtle tattoo. Kyoji asks Satomi to teach him how to sing, and Satomi has no choice but to join him in practice. What will become of the strange relationship between those who met at karaoke? “I’m Crazy About You” is an omnibus story depicting the human drama unique to adolescence.
Ema Joji, who attends an all-boys school, becomes strangely involved with his eccentric classmate Hayashi Mira at the sports festival. Metaka Yuichi, who attends a coeducational high school, is seated behind Nikaido Akira, a creepy character who is hated at school and feels depressed… New visuals of the main characters from both works have been released. In addition to the characters announced so far, the visuals of Nikaido Akira and Metaka Yuichi from “I’m Crazy About You” have been unveiled.
The cast for Nikaido Akira and Metaka Yuichi will be announced during the special stage at AnimeJapan 2025 on March 23rd. The first PV for “Let’s Go to Karaoke!” also revealed the encounter between third-year junior high school student Oka Satomi (CV: Horie Shun ) and yakuza Narita Kyoji (CV: Ono Daisuke).
In addition, since April 1st is the birthday of Oka Satomi, the protagonist of “Let’s Go to Karaoke!”, a special broadcast will commemorate this. Horie Shun, who plays Oka Satomi, and Tokudome Shinosuke, who has been newly selected to play Wada, a junior in the choir club at the same junior high school as Oka Satomi, are scheduled to appear.
