From February 1 to March 30, 2025, GiGO Collaboration Cafe Ikebukuro will host a collaboration cafe for the TV anime Kuroko’s Basketball. Original food and merchandise will be on sale, and the interior will be decorated with original illustrations.
Kuroko’s Basketball, which began airing on TV in 2012, is based on a basketball manga serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” by Fujimaki Tadatoshi from 2009 to 2014. The five geniuses of the ultra-strong Teikou Junior High School basketball team were called the “Generation of Miracles.”
However, a phantom sixth man was in the Generation of Miracles. Kuroko Tetsuya joined the Seirin High School basketball team in the new school year. He was the sixth man of Teikou Junior High School, a phantom who was good at passing the ball unnoticed by the opponent. The main characters, Kuroko Tetsuya, Kagami Taiga, and other unique members, compete against rival schools, which became a hot topic. The TV anime was broadcast for three seasons from April 2012.
After that, “Kuroko’s Basketball LAST GAME” based on “Kuroko’s Basketball EXTRA GAME” published in “Shonen Jump NEXT!!” was released in 2017. Kuroko Tetsuya, Kagami Taiga, Kise Ryota, Kasamatsu Yukio, Midorima Shintaro, Takao Issei, Aomine Daiki, Imayoshi Shoichi, Murasakibara Atsushi, Himuro Tatsuya, Akashi Seijuro, Mayuzumi Chihiro, Hanamiya Makoto and other characters from “Kuroko’s Basketball” will be gathering at “GiGO Collaboration Cafe Kuroko’s Basketball” in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. They will be appearing as “drink menu” and “original latte art menu” (iced coffee, iced cocoa, iced cafe mocha). Don’t miss the entire food menu.
The first period is from February 1 to February 21, the second from February 22 to March 14, and the third from March 15 to March 30. The period is divided into three periods, and 13 types of items will be available, including “Kuroko & Kagami’s cheese meatball burger with spicy kinpira,” “Kise & Kasamatsu’s onion gratin soup-style meat and potatoes,” “Aomine & Imayoshi’s teriyaki hamburger rice bowl,” “Akashi & Mayuzumi’s dorayaki strawberry trunkal,” “Murasakibara & Himuro’s abura soba-style udon,” and “Midorima & Takao’s matcha and tangerine parfait.” Original coasters with each order will be distributed as a menu bonus for drinks, food, and desserts. There are 33 types in total, with 10 types in the first period, 13 in the second period, and 10 in the third period (each random). Don’t miss the original goods limited to the GiGO collaboration cafe.
Each character’s “Japanese-style version” brings out a new charm with a different atmosphere than usual. In addition to the “big acrylic stand,” there is also a broad lineup of items such as “mini colored paper” and “deformed tin badges.” Original goods will be available for pre-order at GiGO MALL. GiGO collaboration cafe stands will also be held nationwide.
The event will be held at the following stores: Sapporo Norbesa, Sendai, Akihabara 2nd Building, Sasashima, Kawaramachi OPA B1F, Osaka Dotonbori Main Store, Okayama, Fukuoka Tenjin, and Kumamoto.
