Two videos have been released for the second season of the anime “Dandadan,” which is scheduled to be broadcast nationwide on the “Super Animeism TURBO ” slot on 28 MBS/TBS-affiliated stations starting from July 3, 2025. The ending theme has also been decided to be “Dakashitei” sung by
The released videos fall into two categories, with themes ranging from friendship and love to occult and battle. The friendship & love videos, along with “Dakashitei” sung by WurtS, show heart-warming scenes in which Momo and Okarun gradually get closer to “love.” Scenes in which Aira and Jiji join in, and the four of them go about their busy daily lives, capturing the everyday lives of “high school students.”
Meanwhile, Occult & Battle, with Aina the End’s “Kakumei Dochu” as the background music, offers a glimpse of the fierce battles that await Momo and Okarun in the second season, including the fight between Okarun and the mysterious briefs man, Momo being blown away by Kito Naki, Manjiro, Chiquitita, and Hoshiko staring intently at something with a charm in her hand. WurtS, who is in charge of the ending theme “Dokaku Shiteru,” commented, “In a crazy world where various lifeforms suddenly appear, you want to express your feelings, but you’re clumsy, but you want to meet someone, but you’re complicated… It’s wild… I’ve created a wonderful song that is packed with all that excitement and thrills.”
“Dandadan” is based on a popular manga by Tatsu Yukinobu, currently serialized in “Shonen Jump+” (Shueisha), and is an occult battle and coming-of-age story in which Momo (Ayase Momo), a high school girl born into a family of spiritual mediums, and her classmate Okarun (Takakura Ken), an occult fanatic, take on the mysteries that await them.
When the first season of the TV anime aired in October 2024, the unusual battles and profound storyline themed around the occult quickly became a hot topic, with the total number of copies of the original manga published exceeding 10 million. The second season is scheduled to begin airing in July 2025, and much attention is being paid to the new battles of Momo, Okarun, and friends.
