The release date of the theatrical animation ” Amrita’s Feast ” has been decided on May 26, 2023, and it has been revealed that Maaya Uchida will play the lead role. In addition, Mamiko Noto and Moemi (formerly known as Moemi Odaka) have also decided to appear.

This is a spin-off work that is a prequel to ” Aragne’s Bug Cage, “which was officially screened at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival and is a horror entertainment that depicts a high school girl, Tamahi, being attacked by various monsters and unknown fears. Saku Sakamoto is in charge of direction, animation, original work, screenplay, and music, just like in “In Aragne’s Bug Cage.”

Uchida is in charge of the role of the new main character, Tamahi. Noto will play the role of Aki, Tamahi’s best friend, and Moemi, who was selected through an audition, will play the role of her classmate, Yu.

In addition, eight new scene photos have been released. Tamahi is overwhelmed by the monster, the sun is sprayed with blood, and the appearance of Yuu, who is hit by accident, is depicted. Housing is also emerging.

” Amrita’s Banquet ” will be released nationwide at Cine Libre Ikebukuro (Tokyo), Cine Libre Umeda (Osaka), and other locations. Saku Sakamoto’s comments are posted below.

Four years ago, I made ” Aragne’s Bug Cage. ” At the time, I thought it would be a once-in-a-lifetime chance to get such an opportunity, so I made this work to put all the ideas and techniques I had cultivated through my video production experience.

I was determined that I needed to have the leeway to save something for the following work or the future. However, as time went on, new ideas emerged one after another. There seems to be no limit to human imagination.

The three high school girls who appear in this work will be brought to life by an attractive cast of voice actors to bring excitement to the drama.

Please look forward to ” Amrita’s Feast, “a spin-off work of ” Aragne’s Insect Cage,” and a new expression challenge that surpasses the previous work.
