It has been announced that a large-scale exhibition event for the anime “Tian Guan Ci Fu,” which was distributed on the Chinese video distribution service “bilibili,” called “Anime Tian Guan Ci Fu Exhibition – Flowing Light of Heaven and Earth,” will be held on the second floor of Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse No. 1 (Naka Ward, Yokohama) from December 14th.

The event, which was held in Shanghai, China, in 2024 to commemorate the fourth anniversary of the anime’s distribution, will now be coming to Japan. It will run until January 12th, 2026.

In addition to valuable materials such as original drawings and settings from the anime, new visuals explicitly created for the exhibition will be on display to commemorate the Japanese opening, and a new short movie (dubbed in Japanese) will be screened for the first time in Japan. Goods featuring the newly drawn illustrations will also be on sale.

A key visual featuring Xie Lian and Hua Cheng holding hands, as well as a commemorative visual for the Japan event, has been released.

“Tian Guan Ci Fu” is based on a fantasy novel that was serialized online from 2017 to 2018. Set in a fictional ancient China, the story follows Xie Lian, a gifted young man who was twice banished from heaven. While diligently collecting junk in the mortal world and trying to make a new start as a priest, he meets a mysterious boy named San Lang.

The knowledgeable and fearless Saburo’s true identity turns out to be Huacheng, a demon feared as the king of the demon world and an enemy of the heavenly realm.

The anime has been available on bilibili since October 2020 and has garnered popularity, with a total of over 300 million views. The first season of the Japanese dubbed version aired from July to September 2021, and the second season aired from January to March 2024.
