by The lineup for the Animation Division of the 37th Tokyo International Film Festival has been announced. This year’s Festival will be held from October 28th to November 6th.
Japanese works selected for the Animation Division include “Your Color” directed by Yamada Naoko, the original anime film “A Few Minutes of Cheers,” “Bakeneko Anzu-chan” based on the original work by Imashiro Takashi and directed by Kuno Haruko and Yamashita Nobuhiro, “Kurayukaba” written, scripted and directed by Tsukahara Shigeyoshi, “Look Back” based on the original work by Fujimoto Tatsuki and directed by Oshiyama Kiyotaka, “Totto-chan: The Little Girl Who Leapt Through Time,” and “Space Battleship Yamato: 4K Remastered.”
In addition, the world premiere of “Make a Girl,” the first full-length animated film by animation artist Yasuda Gensho, will be held. For details on the lineup, including overseas works, please check the list at the end of the article.
