TV anime ‘Delico’s Nursery’ Blu-ray/DVD released, with bonus short story and final script by Kenichi Suemitsu

The release date of the Blu-ray/DVD and original soundtrack for the TV anime Delico’s Nursery has been decided.

“Delicious Nursery,” which started yesterday, August 7th, at 24:30 on TOKYO MX and other stations, is a TV anime broadcast of new work from the “TRUMP series,” a life’s work that playwright and director Kenichi Suemitsu started in 2009.

The story depicts the “struggle of vampire aristocrats in raising their children in the spirit of noblesse oblige.” The Blu-ray/DVD will be released on October 2nd, with the first volume containing episodes 01 to 06, and on January 29th next year, with the second volume containing episodes 07 to 13. Both volumes come with unique features such as a three-sided case and digital jacket written by character designer Kouya, a unique scenario book containing the final draft of the main story’s scenario, including a new short story written by Suemitsu, who is in charge of the original story, series composition and scriptwriting, an audiobook with readings by the main cast, and the complete version of the cast unique program.

In addition, an original soundtrack featuring music by Wada Shunsuke will be released on November 6th and will come with a booklet containing Wada’s liner notes. The latest work in the “TRUMP series,” the stage play “Marionette Hotel,” will be performed in Tokyo and Osaka in September and October.
