The details of the exhibition “Yoshihiro Togashi Exhibition -PUZZLE-,” which will be held to commemorate the 35th anniversary of manga artist Yoshihiro Togashi, have been announced.
The exhibition will include “Yu Yu Hakusho,” which was serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” (published by Shueisha) from 1990 to 1994, “Level E” from 1995 to 1997, and “HUNTER x HUNTER,” which has been serialized since 1998.”, an area featuring three representative works, and the “Yoshihiro Togashi Area” that traces the footsteps of Mr. Togashi’s 35 years of painting.
In the “Yu Yu Hakusho” area, manuscripts of famous scenes from the series are exhibited in an exhibition space where traces of fierce battles remain. In the center of the site, carefully selected action scenes of the four main characters, Yusuke Urameshi, Kazuma Kuwabara, Hiei, and Kurama, are displayed.
In the “Level E” area, where space-time is distorted, SF stories depicting strange interactions between aliens and earthlings centering on “Baka Prince” will be exhibited for each episode.
In the “HUNTER x HUNTER” area, we introduce the growth process of the main characters, Gon Freaks, along with famous scenes. There will also be an exhibition that recreates the Mizumi-style glass and overflows with various Nen abilities.
The “Yoshihiro Togashi Area” manuscripts of early works, color illustrations of each piece, and the latest critical visual images are displayed. There will also be a photo spot where you can take pictures along with the cover of the three representative works.
In addition, more than 90 original goods will be sold at the official shop inside the venue. For example, the” ‘Yu Yu Hakusho’ Emotional Acrylic Diorama -In the Makai-” (1,870 yen) recreates famous scenes from the series in the acrylic diorama, and the “Level E “Blanket * Deep Psychology of Craft” (4620 yen), “HUNTER x HUNTER” Chrollo’s “Secret of Thieves” Multi Case with the motif of Chrollo’s Nen Ability “Secret of Thieves (Skill Hunter)” (2420 yen), etc.
Venue: Mori Arts Center Gallery, Tokyo. Pre-sale of tickets for the first half (October 28th to November 30th) will start on eplus from September 3rd. 2,000 yen for adults, 1,500 yen for middle and high school students, 1,000 yen for children aged 4 to elementary school students, and 3,900 yen for an admission ticket with goods with two acrylic accessory cases. Second semester (December 1st to January 2023) tickets go on sale on November 12th. The exhibition contents of the first and second half are the same, and it is also decided to tour Osaka and Fukuoka.
