Hash Purple, which develops and services the F2F (Fan to Fan) platform ‘KDOL’ based on the global K-pop fandom, has attracted investment from CNT Tech.
‘KDOL’ is equipped with a social platform function for smooth communication among global fandoms, and fans can directly create and share digital content on the theme of their preferred idol.
In addition, the real-time voting function for K-pop idols reflects the votes of users participating in domestic and foreign countries such as the United States, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Korea in 100% of the ranking. Through this, users can check the global popularity of K-pop idols in real-time.
‘KDOL’ is currently servicing the beta version and aims to launch an official service by upgrading the platform function by December.
Lee Joo-eon, CEO of Hash Purple, said, “The official service of KDOL, which will be released at the end of this year, aims to develop into a comprehensive content platform by introducing a service where fans can create and share illustrations, novels, and webtoons featuring K-pop idols as the main characters.” “We plan to increase the distinctiveness of Hash Purple by leading the development of attractive products and services by reflecting the needs of many global fans who love K-pop,” he said.
Meanwhile, CNT Tech discovered and nurtured 24 early start-up companies through the 2020 early start-up package program last year and invested a total of 700 million won in 6 companies. In 2021, we plan to discover excellent start-ups through the initial start-up package and invest aggressively.
