by Solo artist Yugyeom showed unchanging ‘GOT7 chemistry’ with DJ Youngjae on MBC FM4U’s ‘GOT7 Youngjae’s Close Friend’ (directed by Yugi-rim, Baek Jae-Wook, composed by Kim Su-Yeon, Lee Eun-Hye) yesterday (31st).
Yugyeom appeared on ‘Close Friends’ on the same day, right after the new song ‘Take You Down’ and released live stage for the first time on the radio.
DJ Youngjae praised Yugyeom, saying, “I heard this song in advance, and I liked it.”
The two also talked about their first meeting on the ‘Close Friends’ broadcast that day.
DJ Youngjae said, “I first met Yugyeom at the trainee’s dormitory. The first thing he said was, ‘Would you like to eat a hamburger?’ Yugyeom said, “I have always been this face since then,” making the studio into a sea of laughter.
In response to DJ Youngjae’s question, “Is there any growth or change compared to when the first solo song was released?”, Yugyeom showed a serious side as a solo artist.
Yugyeom said, “This time, I took a lot of rest, worried a lot, and whipped myself a lot. I wanted to keep improving (my skills), but all I could do was practice and work on a song. It felt good to feel that I had improved in that area.”
Finally, Yugyeom said about his goal for this year, “I want to meet as many fans as possible.
Yugyeom, who is scheduled to tour Germany in May, said he wants to hold a solo concert in Korea, adding, “I expect that I will unconditionally do it within next year.”
