The global conquest of K-pop stars begins again. K-pop is reaffirming its status by resuming overseas performances one after another, which had been suspended for two years due to the global epidemic (pandemic) of the infectious disease. As countries worldwide are recently easing their quarantine policies, the schedule is expected to be extended.

It is also BTS that opens the door to this year’s large-scale world tour. Following last November, they will hold a face-to-face concert on the 9th and 10th (Korean time) and the 16th and 17th at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, USA. Unlike the ‘BTS Permission to Dance on Stage-Seoul’ held three times at the Jamsil Main Stadium in Seoul last month, which was limited to 15,000 people per episode, this performance does not limit the number of audiences. Allegiant Stadium can accommodate 65,000 spectators. Including online live broadcasting, it is expected that 300,000 people will be mobilized for all four performances.

Before this, BTS will attend the Grammy Awards held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on the morning of the 4th. With ‘Butter’, he was nominated for the ‘Best Pop Duo/Group Performance’ category, raising the possibility of winning the award more than ever.

Following BTS, Stray Kids, who recently took the top spot on the US Billboard’s main album chart ‘Billboard 200’, will come out. From the 29th to May 1st, they will meet with overseas fans in 10 cities worldwide, starting with Seoul. This world tour is the first in two and a half years since 2019.

TWICE is also flying overseas. To commemorate the 5th anniversary of their Japanese debut, they will hold a concert at Tokyo Dome on the 23rd and 25th and perform their world tour ‘Three’ (Ⅲ) encore performance on May 14th at the 22,000-seat Los Angeles Bank of California Stadium. It is the first K-pop girl group to perform at a stadium in North America.

ATEEZ is targeting Europe. On the 23rd, he will hold nine performances in 6 cities, including Spain, England, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Poland and meet local fans.
