Lioness’ new summer song [Bon voyage!] is a dance song with a refreshing music video and a Soca-style beat derived from Latin rhythm. [Bon Voyage!], co-composed by Lioness leader Dam-Jun Bae and guitarist and producer Jeong-Hwan Lee, is a sequel to the debut song [Show me your pride], which deals with ‘coming out.’
Lyricist and leader of Lioness Bae Dam-Joon said, “Life after coming out isn’t always going to be smooth. Not only LGBT people, but many people have to walk through Life like a raging wave. However, I think it is up to you to decide whether to sail on the raging waves in a fun way or to float away in trouble. And we drew a story of going on a trip on the waves that were unavoidable in the first place.”
Lioness member Lee Malang said, “I want to blow away the heat this year with cool music and performances that only Lionesis can show in the hot summer. Female singers who make a comeback in summer are often given the title ‘Summer Queen,’ but this year wants us to take the title of ‘summer queer.'”
Lionesis plans to continue its activities through various live performances and broadcasts, including festivals such as the upcoming ‘Night Opening’ and ‘Queer Culture Festival.’
