From Baekhyun, a member of the idol group EXO, to New Jeans, the sister girl group of BTS, they appear one after another in the stock market reports of securities companies. Reports quoting famous lines from the JTBC drama ‘The Youngest Son of a Chaebol House’ and Netflix’s original drama ‘The Glory,’ which ended in popularity last December, are pouring in, adding to the fun of investors.

According to the stock market on the 27th and 9th, Kyobo Securities published a stock report titled ‘SM-Baekhyun is back.’ Baekhyun is about to be discharged in February. As he has the most significant number of subscribers within the ‘Dear You Bubble,’ a platform where artists and fans can share messages, the stock market considers him an artist who can significantly impact SM’s performance.

The stock market is also very interested in New Jeans, an artist belonging to Adore, a label under Hive. Recently, Hi Investment & Securities and Daol Investment & Securities released reports titled ‘Hive – New Jeans’ Hot 100 chart-in meaning’ and ‘Hive – The core is New Jeans, and unexpectedly TXT’ respectively.

Recently, New Jeans ranked 96th on the Billboard singles chart after five months of debut. So far, the only K-pop groups charted on the Hot 100 are BTS, BLACKPINK, and TWICE. By putting the group name of New Jeans in the report’s title, they raised their eyes on the growth potential.

Not only entertainment stocks but also bio stocks and game stock reports stand out from celebrities to drama titles.

Mirae Asset Securities and Samsung Securities also presented report titles using the drama ‘The youngest son of a conglomerate.’ Samsung Biologics and Com2uS’ stock reports were published under the headings of ‘the youngest member of the chaebol family,’ and ‘games are more important than the chaebol family,’ respectively. Even in the report looking at economic trends, the popularity of ‘the youngest son of a conglomerate family’ could be confirmed.

Hong-cheol Moon, a researcher at DB Financial Investment in charge of the bond sector, presented a report titled ‘The bond market is the youngest son of a conglomerate family.’

On the 25th, Hana Securities drew attention when it released a report titled ‘SM-You’s cool, SM-Ah.’ This title is a famous line representing the Netflix original drama ‘The Glory,’ which has recently been released and is gaining popularity.

Hana Securities has used this title while analyzing that all of SM’s negative issues have been resolved. Recently, SM accepted the 12 governance improvement plans proposed by Align Partners Asset Management, which has continued its shareholder value enhancement campaign.

Hana Securities diagnosed that there is a high possibility that various factors affecting performance improvement will be identified quickly, expecting the multi-production system, SMBM structure improvement, and the sale of non-core businesses.
