The selection is open to all programs distributed on Tver between January 1 and December 31 of the previous year, and programs in each category are awarded based on the total number of views throughout the year.
The anime Dandadan won the “Anime Special Award” for being the number one new anime program broadcast or distributed in 2024. In response to this award, Wakayama expressed her gratitude, saying, “Thank you very much for selecting the TV anime Dandadan for the Anime Special Award at the TVer Awards 2024. I am thrilled that this work, which was created with the soul of both the staff and cast, can be viewed so much through TVer.”
