An original short animation, “Deji Meets Girl,” set in Naha City, will be produced and aired on the MBS / TBS nationwide network from October.

The story is a 90-second short animation every week that depicts the mysterious events of a girl and a boy in a summer, centered on a hotel in Naha City. It is scheduled to be broadcast in the midnight frame of Ryukyu Broadcasting Corporation (RBC) in the prefecture.

Akane Malbeni, an illustrator from Naha City who works on the character draft and screenplay of the work, said in an interview with this paper, “I always wanted to draw a local with my work, so I’m glad to have the best opportunity. I will do my best to disseminate the appeal to the whole country. “

The director is Shio Tazawa, and Liden Films produces the animation.
