The teaser PV and central staff of the TV anime “Chainsaw Man,” produced by MAPPA, have been released. Ryu Nakayama is the first director of TV animation to take the megaphone in this work. In addition, information on the new one-shot of the original author, Tatsuki Fujimoto, was also revealed.
“Chainsaw Man” is a dark fantasy serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” and has a cumulative circulation of over 11 million copies. The first part will be completed in December 2020, and the second part will be serialized in “Shonen Jump.” The main character is Denji, a boy who lives as a “devil hunter” with the devil of chainsaw, Pochita. He had been spending his days at the bottom to repay his parents’ debt, but he was betrayed and killed. Denji signed a contract with Pochita and revived as a “Chainsaw Man” with a devilish heart. In the teaser PV unveiled this time, notable characters such as Denji, Makima, Power, and Aki will appear. Fans are increasingly expecting the finish to exceed expectations, such as beautiful drawings and production scenes unique to animation. Also, the primary staff information is revealed.
