It has been announced that a re-animation project for the popular manga ” Bartender ” set in a bar will be started.

The work, which depicts the human drama that unfolds in a bar, was serialized in “Super Jump” and “Grand Jump” from 2004 to 2012. In 2011, it was made into a live-action drama starring Masaki Aiba, and in the same year, a TV animation was broadcast by Palm Studio.

The full comments from the original author, Araki Jo and Kenji Nagatomo, are as follows.

Shiro Araki (Original)
I’m happy that animation is being planned like this after a long time.

I’m looking forward to seeing Sasakura and other characters come to life, and the human drama will be redrawn.

Kenshi Nagatomo (drawing)
About ten years after the end of the serialization, it’s getting animated again… I’m surprised by the bartenders
who work hard (laughs).
