The episode was directed and storyboarded by Shinichiro Ueda, with Masaki Hiramatsu handling the script.
Kiyomi Komatsubara served as chief animation director, while the episode’s animation directors included Manamu Amasaki, Natsuko Suzuki, Izumi Kondo, Kazuo Takigawa, and Mika Okubo.

BS TV Tokyo will air Episode 49 on October 20 and Episode 50 on October 27 at 24:30 JST. Other regional broadcast schedules will be announced separately.
The delay means fans will have to wait several additional weeks for the final two episodes, but the stated goal is to give the conclusion additional production time.
BLEACH Will Air a Climax Selection During the Break
To fill part of the gap before the final episodes, the production team has announced a special “Climax Selection” broadcast.
The selection will revisit important episodes leading toward Ichigo’s final confrontation with Yhwach.
The announced schedule includes:

- September 26: Episode 28, “KILL THE KING”
- October 5: Episode 46, “THE END”
