by It was announced on the 29th that the dance and vocal group “DA PUMP” will be in charge of the opening theme “Osomatsu-san’s Bombshell!” for the popular anime “Osomatsu-san” (broadcast on TV Tokyo and other networks), the fourth season of which will begin airing in July.
“Osomatsu-san” is based on Fujio Akatsuka’s classic comedy manga “Osomatsu-kun” and depicts the protagonist’s sextuplets as they grow up to be worthless NEET adults.
Three TV series and two movies have been broadcast so far. The fourth season will begin in the memorial year of the 10th anniversary of the TV anime, and the same six-member group, DA PUMP, will also be livening things up with their songs. “Bombshell!” is a cover of an overseas song with original Japanese lyrics.
The lyrics were written by m.c. A.T. has teamed up with DA PUMP to create some great songs. Vocalist ISSA (46) commented, “Master m.c. A.T. has skillfully written the lyrics of this foreign song in Japanese, and with the participation of the sextuplets, it has become a vivacious and fun song!” He also promoted the song by saying, “I hope you will enjoy our playfulness, visuals, and dance.”
