“Majin Souzouden Wataru” work information
Broadcast on six TV Tokyo-affiliated stations from January 2025, “Mashhin Hero Wataru” is an animated series with 45 episodes from April 1988 to 1989. It was followed by the second TV series, “Mashhin Hero Wataru 2,” and the third series, “Super Mashin Hero Wataru.” Since then, it has been popular for many years, with a movie version and a web anime, “Mashhin Hero Wataru: Ryuuujinmaru of the Seven Souls,” in 2020.
The new work will be a new story that follows the “Mashhin Hero Wataru lineage.” The protagonist, Hoshibe Wataru, appears as a “Ryutuber” who aims to be a superstar and goes on an adventure battle in another world with his partner, Ryuujinmaru. The story takes place in a different world called “Sorabe World,” where Wataru challenges the final boss, “Enjoda,” with “Ryuuujinmaru,” a genie (machine) created from blocks.
The protagonist, a fourth-grader named Hoshibe Wataru, is a YouTuber aiming to become a superstar. Set in the parallel world of Chubukai, the adventure begins with Ryujinmaru, a demon (machine) that Wataru created out of blocks to defeat the final boss, Enjoda!
