by Animate’s large-scale event in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, “Animate Girls Festival 2025” (hereafter “AGF2025”) will be held on November 8th and 9th, 2025. It has been announced that all 15 exhibitor stages featuring a star-studded cast will be broadcast live for free on the new futuristic TV network “ABEMA.” Special stages featuring popular works and artists such as “Hanazakari no Kimitachi e,” “Disney’s Twisted Wonderland,” and the male VTuber group “Holostars” will be broadcast free of charge.
“Animate Girls Festival” (AGF) is a large-scale event held in Ikebukuro that brings together “everything for girls,” including anime, comics, voice actors, merchandise, otome games, and cosplay. A variety of content is planned, including exhibitor booths featuring popular anime and games, stage programs featuring popular voice actors, artists, and production teams, and collaboration projects. All exhibitor stages will be broadcast live and free exclusively on ABEMA.
This will include performances from new anime series such as “Hanazakari no Kimitachi e” and “Isekai no Sata wa Shachiku Dattai” (The Case of the Corporate Slave), which are scheduled to air in January 2026, as well as popular content like “Disney’s Twisted Wonderland” and “Puella Magi Madoka Magica,” as well as special stages by the K-pop virtual idol group “PLAVE” and the hugely popular male VTuber group “Holostars.”
A total of 15 special stages will be broadcast free of charge. Additionally, ABEMA will take over the 165-inch signage, six ceiling-mounted monitors, and pillar advertisements on the first floor of Animate Ikebukuro Main Store, allowing viewers to watch AGF2025 stage performances from these locations.
