‘Eternal Yugure’ Episode 2: Going to Honshu with Yugure

The TV anime “Eternal Yugure ” is currently airing nationwide on the “Super Animeism TURBO ” slot on 28 MBS/TBS affiliates every Thursday from midnight, starting Thursday, September 25, 2025. The synopsis and preview cuts for episode 2 have been released.

“Eternal Yugure” is set in a future world where AI technology has advanced. The story begins when the protagonist, Akira Himegami, who has pledged his love to his beloved, Towasa Oh, awakens from a long period of cold sleep. Upon awakening, Akira finds himself in a city devastated by war. The country has fallen into ruin, and its people are governed by a unified organization known as OWEL.

A new system called “ELSie,” which differs from marriage, is also available. Akira is left stunned by the future, which has completely transformed from the world he once knew. To make matters worse, an android named Yugure, who looks just like Towasa, appears before Akira and pressures him into marriage. Akira is confused by the android’s sudden proposal. Still, he decides to travel with Yugure, believing that he will be reunited with Towasa, who is considered to be alive somewhere in the world. Along the way, the two witness a new form of love in the new era and begin to reconsider the nature of their own love.

This is the story of a full-fledged love story. The synopsis and preview cuts for Episode 2, “In the North Where the End Has Passed,” which will begin airing on Thursday, October 9, have been released. Synopsis of Episode 2, “In the North Where the End Has Passed”: Akira is proposed to by Yugure, an android who bears a resemblance to Towasa. Akira rejects the proposal but decides to travel with Yugure, who has information about Towasa and the world.

The two begin their journey to Tokyo, where the Oh Maki family home is located. After traveling from Hakodate to Honshu, the two meet Amor, a girl who dreams of becoming a picture book author.
