The first episode of Wind Breaker, which was animated by the gifted people at Studio CloverWorks, who are well-known for their work on popular shows like Spy x Family, Horimiya, and Bocchi the ROCK, has already demonstrated the studio’s superior animation abilities.
It’s difficult to ignore the question of how Tokyo Revengers might have fared better under the direction of a studio as powerful as CloverWorks.
Tokyo Revengers are a passion of Nii Satoru’s, the manga creator of Wind Breaker, and his work reflects this. But Satoru may have created a series that goes beyond its source, rather than just a straightforward imitation.
Wind Breaker is positioned to be the breakout sensation of the spring anime season thanks to its captivating protagonist, excellent animation, and the promise of violent delinquent action.
