Is Tokyo Revengers Not Much Better Than Wind Breaker Anime Already?

If the main character of Tokyo Revengers turned you off or didn’t enjoy it, then Wind Breaker anime is for you because the main character can really battle.

The first episodes of numerous series are currently showing, signaling the start of the spring anime season. We’ve already seen an isekai in which the protagonist was reborn as a goblin and another in which the protagonist’s appearance horrified a lot of spectators.

One program, Wind Breaker, is already becoming well-known in this crowded field. The anime is based on the manga by Nii Satoru, not to be confused with Wind Breaker Manhwa. This criminal anime has really set the tone for the Spring season, evoking thoughts of contemporary genre masterpieces such as Tokyo Revengers and Bucchigiri.

What distinguishes Wind Breaker, then? To begin with, Haruka Sakura, the main character, is no pushover. Sakura is ostracized by society because to his unusual appearance, which includes having two distinct colors for his hair and eyes.

Sakura’s combat skills, however, more than make up for his lack of social graces. Takemichi Hanagaki of Tokyo Revengers, whose incapacity to hold his own in a battle was a major point of contention for several viewers, stands in stark contrast to this.

Sakura enrolls at Fuurin Senior High School, a sanctuary for intellectually challenged kids with a predilection for throwing down, in an attempt to become the top dog. Sakura meets Kotoha Tachibana, a cafe waitress, on the eve of his first day of school when he defends her from a group of troublemakers from a rival school.

Going solo won’t work at Furin High; instead, Sakura learns from Tachibana that the “Bofurin,” the school’s main gang, are the key to success. Sakura starts his fight to climb the delinquent food chain at this point.

The first episode of Wind Breaker, which was animated by the gifted people at Studio CloverWorks, who are well-known for their work on popular shows like Spy x Family, Horimiya, and Bocchi the ROCK, has already demonstrated the studio’s superior animation abilities.

It’s difficult to ignore the question of how Tokyo Revengers might have fared better under the direction of a studio as powerful as CloverWorks.

Tokyo Revengers are a passion of Nii Satoru’s, the manga creator of Wind Breaker, and his work reflects this. But Satoru may have created a series that goes beyond its source, rather than just a straightforward imitation.

Wind Breaker is positioned to be the breakout sensation of the spring anime season thanks to its captivating protagonist, excellent animation, and the promise of violent delinquent action. Should you find Tokyo Revengers unsatisfactory or its protagonist unsatisfactory, Wind Breaker could be the series you’ve been waiting for.

The first episode of the anime Wind Breaker is currently available on Crunchyroll if you’re going to watch it. Also, later this month, Crunchyroll intends to launch a feature that allows users to have many profiles on a single account.
