‘Looney Tunes Cartoons’ CN broadcast for the first time in Japan!

Turner Japan, which operates the anime channel “Cartoon Network,” will release the latest anime series “Looney Tunes Cartoons” featuring Bugs Bunny and other Looney Tunes Cartoons on Sunday, August 15, 2021, at 2 pm From time to time, it will be broadcast for the first time in Japan as “Cartoon Special Looney Tunes Cartoons.”

“Looney Tunes” is a unique character created by Warner Bros. Pictures, which is enjoyed worldwide, including in the United States.

There are many characters, such as Bugs Bunny, a rabbit known for the lines of “What’s Up, Sensei,” and Tweety, a yellow canary.

In the live-action movie “Space Players,” released on August 27, many Looney Tunes characters, including Bugs Bunny, appeared and became a big topic.

The anime series “Looney Tunes Cartoons,” which will be broadcast for the first time in Japan, is the latest anime series released nationwide in 2020.

Including Bugs Bunny, popular characters such as Daffy Duck and Porky Pig have appeared. With the addition of familiar and unique Looney Tunes friends such as Tweety, Sylvester, Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote, Marvin the Martian, Yosemite Sam, Elmer Fudd, Gossamer, and more, fast-paced gag continues. It’s a slapstick comedy.

The same voice actors will handle the Japanese dubbing as in the previous “Looney Tunes” series, such as Kappei Yamaguchi as Bugs Bunny, Wataru Takagi as Daffy Duck, and Naoki Tatsuta as Porky Pig.

In “Cartoon Special Looney Tunes Cartoons” broadcast from 2:00 pm on August 15 (Sun), episodes 1 to 8 will be published at once. In the first episode, Daffy Duck and Porky Pig will go to the jungle’s interior searching for a treasure, “Hidden Treasure of the Jungle,” and Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam will challenge the arm wrestling confrontation, “Tough Guy Arm Wrestling” will be broadcast.
