In commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the unique TV anime “Midori no Makibao” with the theme of horse racing, it was decided to be made into a Blu-ray box for the first time. A total of 61 episodes will be recorded as a remastered video by negative scan (the ending and some main cuts are up-converted videos), and it will be released on July 27 as a 3-disc set.

The main character of this work, which was broadcast in 1996 and 1997, is Midori no Makibao, a small and unusual white-haired thoroughbred. Makibao, who made his debut as a racehorse after discovering his talent from the demon trainer Masatora Iitomi, grows into a first-class racehorse while struggling to win the cascade of genius thoroughbreds.

“Midori no Makibao Blu-ray BOX” is scheduled to be recorded for about 1406 minutes (about 1403 minutes for the main story + about 3 minutes for benefits), and the price is 27,500 yen (tax included). Non-top opening & ending is recorded as a video privilege.

On the 7th floor of Shibuya Modi, Tokyo, the “25th Anniversary Exhibition of Anime” Midori no Makibao “is held until January 30.
