Spread the love

Hana Hope’s song “Two of Us” has been selected as the ending theme for the TV anime “Eternal Yugure,” which will begin airing on September 25th on the MBS/TBS “Super Animeism TURBO ” block. The second promotional video has also been released.

This is an original, full-scale love story by PAWORKS. Set in a future world where AI technology has advanced, the story begins when protagonist Akira Himegami, who has pledged his love to his beloved lover, Towasa Oh, awakens from years of cold sleep. Upon awakening, Akira finds himself faced with a city devastated by war.

The country has fallen into ruin, and its people are governed by a unified organization known as OWEL. A new system called “ELSie,” which differs from traditional marriage, has been introduced. Akira is left abandoned in a future that has completely changed from the world he once lived in. To make matters worse, an android named Yugure, who bears a striking resemblance to Towasa, appears before Akira and proposes marriage to him.

Akira is confused by the android’s sudden proposal. Still, he decides to travel with Yugure, believing that he will be reunited with Towasa, who is considered to be alive somewhere in the world. Along the way, the two witness a new form of love in the new era and begin to reconsider the nature of their own love.

The second trailer, featuring the ending theme “Two of Us” by Hana Hope, focuses on key points in the story and Akira and his friends’ adventures in the future. When Yugure finds out that Akira once gave Towasa a ring, Akira suspects that Towasa and Yugure may have a connection. When Yugure asks Akira about his relationship with Towasa and why he was created, Yugure evades the question, claiming it’s “forbidden.” Furthermore, Towasa sends a cryptic message, “Don’t ever look for me,” along with the ominous phrase “AI war.”

Along with the ending theme “Two Of Us” sung by Hana Hope, Akira and Yugure meet various people on their journey to find Towasa, and are asked to reflect on the multiple forms of love. Will Akira and his friends be able to see ” true love” at the end of their journey? Hana Hope commented on the ending theme “Two Of Us,” saying, “I hope it will empathize with those who live with a slight sense of discomfort toward the societal values that say ‘this is the right thing to do.'”

The series will also begin streaming on various streaming sites from midnight on September 25th. It will also air on BS Nippon Television every Tuesday from midnight starting September 30th, and on AT-X every Friday from 10:30 PM beginning September 26th.

Hana Hope (Ending Theme) Comment: I’m Hana Hope, and I’ve been asked to provide the ending theme. “Two of Us” is both a love story and a question about what is right. I created this song with the intention of adding color to the worldview of the TV anime “Eternal Yugure,” which also poses the question, “What is the right thing to do?” I would be happy if I could empathize with people who live with a sense of discomfort towards the societal values that say, “This is the right thing to do.”
