It has been decided that the novel “Until a Witch Dies” will be made into a TV anime in 2025. A teaser visual and a promotional video has also been released, with Aoyama Yoshino playing the role of Meg Raspberry and Sakakibara Yoshiko playing the role of Faust.
The work won the grand prize in the “Passionate Master-Student Relationship” category of the Dengeki New Literature 2nd Anniversary Contest and tells the bright, cheerful, and slightly sad story of a miracle told by an immature witch.
Aoyama Yoshino’s comment: When I read the original work, I felt the overwhelming light she emits. I am honored to have been entrusted with a part of the life of the innocent, brave, and hardworking Meg Raspberry. I’ll give Meg the “tears of joy” I shed when I was chosen to appear in the film…!
I look forward to your continued support.
Comment from Sakakibara Yoshiko: I came across this work when I thought that death would inevitably come someday and that I needed to prepare myself to accept it while I was still alive. For me, it’s like a revelation. Together with Meg, I will embrace it to the fullest.
