Episode 1: YAIBA appears – Preview cut released
Episode 1: YAIBA appears [Synopsis] Aiming to become a true samurai, Tetsujin trains hard daily in the jungle with his father, Kenjuro, and others. He returns to Japan with Tora Kagetora, whom Kenjuro met in the jungle, and ends up staying with his father’s friend, the Mine family. Sayaka, the daughter of the Mine family, begins living with the unconventional YAIBA, though she is confused by it.
One day, YAIBA visits Sayaka’s school and has a fateful encounter with Onimaru Takeshi, a kendo expert. Otoha -otoha- Comments: An encounter with the unknown you have never experienced can become a lifelong light. I packed this pure expectation into “pineapple tart.”
In YAIBA, the thrill of the extraordinary and the preciousness of everyday life coexist, and there were many scenes where I felt the same way about Sayaka’s perspective. When you realize someone is so important that you can’t let them go, you first feel a void in your heart when they are absent. I want to continue maintaining the everyday life of laughing at the dinner table with loved ones.
