At the same time, the main character, Abe no Seimei’s character visuals and concept art, have been unveiled. It was announced on September 25th at the global fan event “TUDUM Japan” hosted by Netflix.
The “Onmyoji” series is a bizarre novel featuring the honest Onmyoji Abe no Seimei as the main character. Since it was first announced in 1986, it has gained popularity and has been made into a live-action movie and cartoon, but this is the first time it has been made into an anime.
In the anime, original episodes are added based on the original’s worldview, and Seimei’s new story is drawn.
