This work is set in Nagasaki in the Edo period, which has a history different from reality. A dark hero action work in which they are involved in a big conspiracy. Urobuchi Gen (Nitroplus) of “Puella Magi Madoka Magica” and “PSYCHO-PASS Psychopath” will work on the original story and series composition.
Otsuka plays Gerald Kano, a priest who runs the town’s convenience store. He is the person who gives information on the target to the convenience stores when the koban is delivered and offers prayers and rewards to those who have accomplished the “convenience.”
On the other hand, Koyasu will play Jinkuro Isarizawa, an official of the Nagasaki Magistrate’s Office, which is the government’s security organization. He is called “Kaimaki Yoriki” because he usually spends his time in the red-light district and has many prostitutes attend him, but in reality, he is pretty sharp and makes money. He also has deep connections with the town’s underworld.
As already announced, the main cast will include Jun Kasama as Raizo Kurima, Yuichiro Umehara, Shunsuke Takeuchi, Hisako Kanemoto, and Shota Hayama. Broadcast on TOKYO MX, Kansai TV, BS Nippon Television, and AT-X from January 5, 2011.
