BTS topped Hanteo’s annual world music chart. ‘Proof’ surpasses 3 million copies.

Groups BTS and SEVENTEEN topped the Hanteo Annual Chart in 2022.

Hanteo Chart, the world’s one-and-only real-time music chart, announced the 2022 Annual Chart at 10:00 AM on January 1st.

The world chart announced based on the global data of K-pop artists such as albums, music sources, certifications, SNS, and media has the meaning of a comprehensive chart. BTS took first place in the 2022 annual World Chart with a World Index of 24,230.64 points, proving its unrelenting global popularity throughout the year.

In 2022, it 2nd place on the annual world chart was Stray Kids, and 3rd place was NCT Dream.

BTS also took the top spot on the 2022 annual music chart and won two crowns. BTS’ “Proof” took first place on the 2022 yearly music chart with an album index of 7,378,546.50 and album sales of 3,051,082 copies. BTS was the only group to break 3 million copies on the annual album chart with this album. 2nd and 3rd place on the annual album chart was Stray Kids’ ‘MAXIDENT’ and Seventeen’s ‘Face the Sun.’

Seventeen topped the chart with ‘Face the Sun’ on the annual certification chart, created and certified by global fans. Stray Kids’ “ODDINARY” and NCT Dream’s “Glitch Mode” took 2nd and 3rd place, respectively.

Hanteo Chart’s 2022 annual chart aggregation period is one year from January 1st to December 31st. The world chart is announced based on the global data of K-pop artists, and the physical album chart is reported based on the album index based on global album sales. The certification chart is based on the number of original albums certified by overseas fans.
