BTS sweeps away the K-pop radar ’10 million views in 39 minutes of ‘Permission to Dance’ MV release.’

The group BTS topped the K-Pop radar weekly chart with the recently released third English song, ‘ Permission to Dance.’

K-pop platform K-Pop Radar showed that BTS’s ‘Permission to Dance’ music video reached 84,979,437 views on the chart in the 28th week of 2021 (July 4 – July 10), only two days during the week’s counting period. It was announced on the 13th that it ranked first with a record of only one year.

A K-Pop Radar official said, “After achieving 10 million views in 39 minutes of release, 50 million views in half a day, and 100 million views in 52 hours after release, BTS became the 34th 100 million view music in its history. We have a video,” he explained.

In particular, this ‘Permission to Dance’ music video also set a phenomenal record of achieving 1 million ‘likes’ before the video was officially released.

Currently, BTS not only swept the top spots with ‘Butter’ and ‘Dynamite’ taking 2nd and 3rd places respectively but also ‘Poetry for Small Things’ and ‘MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)’) (Feat. Desiigner)’ is also causing a global syndrome, taking 8th and 9th places, respectively.

In addition to this, on this week’s K-pop radar chart, Jeon So-yeon’s ‘BEAM BEAM’ music video recorded 9.46 million views, entering 5th place.
