Girl group aespa topped the K-pop radar music video chart with their new song ‘Dreams Come True.
Espa’s ‘Dreams Come True’ music video surpassed 5 million views in about 9 hours and 10 million views in about 20 hours, setting a record as a representative girl group of the 4th generation.
In response, K-Pop Radar said, “The difference between 2nd place and three times the number of views was overwhelming, and they took the overwhelming first place.” They said, “Even though it’s only been a year since they debuted, they are a girl group that continues to make amazing records.”
In particular, in the case of Espa, whenever a new song is released, it has been showing off its extraordinary dignity by rising to the top of the K-pop radar weekly chart at the same time as the comeback.
Meanwhile, on this week’s K-Pop Radar music video chart, Stray Kids’ ‘Christmas EveL’ climbed two steps to 6th place, and ‘ELEVEN’ of the new girl group IVE debuted on the 1st, is still famous. Thanks to this, he made it to 9th place. The K-Pop Radar music video chart can be found on the K-Pop Radar website.
The ‘Weekly Fandom Chart,’ established in September, also drew attention. Following the existing ‘Music Video Weekly Chart,’ K-Pop Radar is releasing the ‘Weekly Fandom Chart’ to reveal artists who have recorded large-scale fandom expansion.
Espa’s ‘Dreams Come True’ music video boasted great popularity, generating 28.5 million views during the 52nd week of K-Pop Radar’s counting period (December 19 – December 25).
On the Twitter chart of the weekly fandom chart for the 52nd week, NCT 127 added 42,686 followers and climbed two places to 5th place, and NCT DREAM also climbed four places to 8th place. BTS members who recently opened their personal Instagram took the 1st to 7th positions following last week on the Instagram chart. V (V), who recently released the OST, added 79,344 followers to the Spotify chart. It was ranked 5th, up to four places.
