The Korean Embassy in Singapore (ambassador Hoon Choi) announced on the 20th that it had held an offline K-pop event for the first time in three years since the Corona 19 incident.

At the event held at the Singapore SOTA Drama Theater on the 19th as a Singapore qualifier for the ‘2022 Changwon K-Pop World Festival’, 14 teams were selected through an online audition last month, in which 70 teams participated and competed.

On this day, three and two teams were selected in the dance and singing divisions, respectively. After that, if they pass the screening process conducted by experts in Korea, they will participate in the finals to be held in Changwon, Korea, in October.

“I am delighted to be able to hold a K-pop event offline,” said Choi Hoon, Ambassador of Singapore to Singapore.
