‘Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Cosmos’ will be released in two parts in 2011. The final chapter, ‘Shadow Galactica’, will be visualized.

It has been decided that the theatrical anime “Sailor Moon Cosmos” will be released in two parts in a row in early summer 2023. “Shadow Galactica” will be visualized and will be the final chapter to decorate the curtain of the series. Unique news footage and teaser visuals have also been released.

In this work, Sailor Moon (Usagi Tsukino / CV: Kotono Mitsuishi) and other sailor warriors face the new enemy organization “Shadow Galactica” and fight for the final battle. Shadow Galactica has also appeared in the original manga by Naoko Takeuchi and in the last TV series, “Sailor Moon Sailor Stars”, broadcast from 1996 to 1997.

In the teaser video, the monologue reveals the rabbit’s struggle, accepting his destiny and deciding to fight, as he involves essential people in the fight because of his power. The teaser visual is an illustration depicting Eternal Sailor Moon with a melancholy expression while looking up at the night sky of Tokyo, along with a catchphrase, “I want to see you again”.

“Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon,” which celebrated its 30th anniversary this year, was broadcast on TV anime from 1992 to 1997. From 2014 to 2016, the reboot version of the anime series “Sailor Moon Crystal” was produced for three terms. In 2009, “Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Eternal”, which corresponds to the 4th period of the reboot version, was released as the first theatrical animation in 25 years.
